We are just mirrors

Gabe Weis and Alyssa Stevens both describe their creative processes as "stream of consciousness," allowing various emotions and motifs to flow through while connecting to the present moment. Upon meeting at Art Basel 2022, the two artists knew their styles would work perfectly together in a collab. Over a year later, "We are just mirrors" was born, a digital piece passed back and forth between the two artists over the course of a few weeks. A merging of Gabe's iconic cubist faces and Alyssa's detailed yet abstract line work brings forth a sense of newness in this open edition.
