Do not Hide, Stay open. Our external reality reflects our internal voice. The things you tell yourself today become the beliefs you hold tomorrow, next month, or next year. When you tell yourself a story that uplifts you, you bring in experiences that hold true to those beliefs - when you only tell yourself that you deserve something if certain external circumstances are met - you bring resistance into your life, causing blockages that will seek to impede on your experiences. The story that I choose to tell myself as a being, as an artist and as a vessel for creative intelligence is this: I will not hide. I will stay open. I will believe not only in my creativity and imagination, but in my ability to sustain myself over a long and healthy life with art, with love - and with the belief that I am in control of not just what happens to me, but how I react to it. Do not hide; stay open. Throughout your days you are faced with many choices and perceived problems - all of them can be met with your head held high and the knowledge that if you choose to stay open to them, you will find out you had more power and control in your own life than you ever thought imaginable.
