Fear of Failure

Fear of Failure If you do anything, anything at all - for long enough; failure is a given. Some people spend their lives tallying up their wins and losses; seeking to minimize their losses and hoard their wins - insulating themselves from the negative emotions surrounding perceived failures, making it easier to support the argument that they’re valuable because of external success. But what if you were already valuable? What if you didn’t need something outside of yourself to express how whole you are, and instead; took every lesson learned (the good, the bad and the ugly) as a necessary step in your journey? Most people fear failure. For many, it imparts you with the idea that you won’t find success, won’t impact the lives of people around you, that you don’t matter… These emotions are par for the course sometimes. One of the most important things about success though, is the fact that you cannot count the wins without the losses; and you surely can’t appreciate them without context of the other side. Not everything that happens to you will be perfect, not every choice you make will be the right one, but they all lead you to where you’re supposed to end up. While fear of failure may be natural to you - instead, take a moment to think of failure as the starting point for your next success.
