A machine that can manipulate our reality, to make us think that our decisions are our own. This would be a frightening reality, to think that our lives are controlled by an unseen force, or a quantum computing machine. We would be left with no control over our own lives, no control over our decisions and no control over our destiny. We would be filled with terror and mystery, wondering what this machine is capable of, and how far its reach extends. We would be filled with questions about why the machine exists, and what is its ultimate purpose. We would be left with a void, a void of uncertainty and fear, of what the consequences of this machine's power would be.
