There might also be a burn mechanism in the future. _ Description: A human is embracing their ancestral self. This particular piece was inspired by and finalized during the time of Sam Spratt's Monument Game. It represents my reflection on the branching paths of evolution, some fading into oblivion to let our lineage thrive - or in other words: Many are called, but few are chosen. Evolution requires sacrifice. To me, the work symbolizes my own artistic journey and the stylistic evolutionary leap I dared to take with my "Oh Look! It’s Us!" series. It was a step into the unknown, and I was constantly surrounded by benevolent supporters and fellow artists who stressed the importance of adhering to my previous lines of work for branding purposes and for maintaining a higher level of recognizability. I believe, however, that an artist's evolution is the heartbeat of creation, warding off the shadow of stagnation and ensuring that the flame of creativity blazes on. The piece, therefore, mirrors my work’s progression; some cling to the past, while others embrace the new. Just as nature beckons adaptation, new supporters join, while former patrons reminisce. I want to thank my collectors with this token of appreciation, and I am looking forward to the exciting path that lies ahead of us.
